HB&G Architectural Columns are faithful to Virtuvius' guidelines and are crafted form the highest quality materials available.
Architecural Columns are made with applied neck mold, and finish sanded, load bearing and have tongue and grove joints. Caps and bases are manufactured from polyurethane in size 6" to 20". Larger columns use wood bases and aluminum plinths. Caps and bases from stain grade manufactured from same species as shaft. Stave thickness is from 1' to 1 1/4" depending on the size of column. HB&G offers architectural colums of several species, plain or fluted, and in a wide variety of sizes. Non-tapered columns with special fluting can also be ordered.
HB&G warrants that for one year from date of shipment from its factory, its stock pine columns, when properly and adequately protected from the elements will be free of defects in material or workmanship. Columns must be properly stored in a cool, dry environment prior to installation. In the event defects are found, HB&G agrees to replace or repair the product at their option. No one is authorized to promise any other liability. Any changes, attachments, modifications or improvements to the products are specifically excluded from this warranty. In the event of a claim against this warranty, proof of purchase, with date will be required to affect such a claim. Installation cost not included. HB&G gives no other warranty expressed or implied.
