What Does “RoughSawn” Mean?

Lumber cut from a log using a bandsaw that isn’t planed smooth is called “rough sawn.” That’s because the bandsaw blade leaves saw marks on the lumber, giving it a distinctive texture. It’s this texture that’s replicated in our RoughSawn® products.

Advantages of RoughSawn Over Cedar Porch Columns

Cedar porch columns are beautiful to look at, but they don’t have the durability or long lifespan of our RoughSawn columns.
