With their lightweight material, they are easy to install by first measuring the height that you need and cutting the column to those measurements with a saw. Then, you will assemble three sides of the metal porch columns together with their snaps (square) or hinges (round) with a rubber mallet. Take the 3-sided column and place it into the base and add the final stave when in an upright position. Finally, secure with fasteners and screws at the bottom and top of the column.
